Eminönü, located on the waterfront, is filled with boats that ferry passengers to and from the city's bustling markets. The Spice Bazaar offers a variety of fruits, teas, and spices, while the adjacent Grand Bazaar is known for its colorful carpets, fabrics, lamps, and jewelry. The Süleymaniye Mosque overlooks the area from above and the Rüstem Pasha Mosque, built in the 16th century, is famous for its İznik tiles.
